Default OmgWtfCynn???

Ok, The first AI change that made monsters flee AoE was, what, 9 months ago or more? I haven't pulled out the good ol' fire henchie since then. Today I decide to do the unthinkable and add Cynn to my party.

What do I see?

Freakin' stupid FIRE STORM!!!!! Enemies are scattering. Aggro is lost. The opposing force takes a whopping 20-40 damage before they re-target and attempt to slaughter my toon (that's right, a 'toon' is a group, not a character....welcome to the 1980's :P).

What I want to know is WHY (freakin' flippin' WHYYYYYYYY!!!!) does Cynn still have this spell that makes her unusable?

Please replace that one spell with anything else, preferably Phoenix, Meteor, Immolate, any Glyph you want, Conjure Flame, Flare.....hell ANYTHING! Anything that will make her usable, please.

Sheesh, thought this would have been taken care of by now....

I'm not actually pissed off about this, I think it's quite funny. I left town, fought once, zoned back after seeing Fire Storm, and kicked her from my group.

It's like having this idiotic newbie who won't listen to you when you tell them not to use that spell sitting in every town just waiting there for the first chance to make a retard out of him/herself. It just makes no sense to me at all that she still has that spell....

claude is just as bad if not worse. lets sacrifice ourselves to death yay!! retard hench.
each one of them is "special" in their own way. I take cynn all the time. the enemy seems to target her of my monks so she makes good bait.

All the hench skill builds are ridiculously retarded. They've been given the skills human players wouldnt use (eg Firestorm, Charge elite on every warrior?) etc etc.

I think a great thing would be if we could customise hench skills, but not have direct controll over them like heroes.

Or heck, let us use up to 7 heroes in PVE please.

I dont have nf so the 7 heroes doesnt mean much till after xmas (when i get it) but the ability to alter henches would be great. little thorn and stephen having useful elites would be nice.

Yes please. Even if we can only give each of them 4 skills, at least theyd be 4 good skills :\

If the enemies are running then they are not killing you. Though i wouldnt mind seeing cynn as a SF ele.

I've been hard pressed to find good 4-person builds I can use in GW, at least when I'm stuck with one of those slots being a monk, though I could always go smite, since I don't think a hero would understand how to smite properly.

Oh yeah, and how heroes always attack the same target kinda makes the strategies I have in mind difficult, too. I mean, what's the point in a party focusing on KDs (including Brambles and Lacerate) if it's only one enemy at a time ever getting KDed? Likewise with disabling hexes, degen on a monster that dies before the hex completes, etc...

I still use Cynn. I always have.

I know how to set up my group and use the aoe as a defense. If they are running they are not attacking but they still take dmg.

Yeah, but if you combine fire storm with mark of rodgort, it would be a good combination, so if ANet doesn't want to remove fire storm, add mark of rodgort somwhere.

Also I would like to know y henchies never have their skill bar with 8 skills (all henchies have between 4-6 skills)

She uses Firestorm because she used it in the cinematic, if they change that skill, it would invalidate the opening cinematic as well as the manuscript booklet because I'm pretty sure she used it in there too.

nope in d cinematic she used meteor shower. Also in the cinematic devona has a sword and not a hammer.*Takes a look to the manuscript*

Well it gives a description of a fire storm in d manuscript but let's have a look at Devona shall we: "Devona stepped in front of Cynn and into the gap left by the falling Charr, reversing her Blade and Slashing the other way."

So the cinematic and manuscript are not a good excuse for her to keep fire storm

I almost always use Cynn in my Hench groups... purely cause she is generally cannon fodder and sometimes that Firestorm helps by scattering the crowd and allowing you to reposition your group. Other than that she is a tad useless.

Off Topic: Magie I would suggest that you use full words instead of abbreviations i.e. d = the reason being there are people that are picky on what gets written on these boards.
